Yes, most of the collection is in genuine buff leather, and the rest, mostly smaller accessories like the storage basket, coasters and tissue boxes, use recycled leather instead.
Seven finishes appear across the range: croco print, shagreen print, waxy, solid, split suede, hair-on-hide and crunch. Each product page names the exact finish, so you always know what you're buying before it arrives.
Most pieces just need a wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth to keep them looking their best. Keep them out of direct sunlight, and for the bar pieces specifically, away from moisture as well.
Yes, these finishes are more delicate than smooth leather. Spot clean only, using a suede brush or dry cloth, rather than wiping them the way you would a croco print or waxy piece.
Hardware varies by piece and is made from stainless steel, mild steel or brass. Most of it is finished in antique gold or gold plating to match the leather tones.
Each cocktail set comes as a full seven-piece set: a tray, ice bucket, cocktail shaker, strainer, scoop, jigger and bottle opener, all in the same leather and finish.
This depends on the style you choose. The single waxy leather frame fits a standard 7 x 5 inch photo, while the shagreen set of two fits 4 x 6 inch and 5 x 7 inch photos in the small and large frame.
The desktop set includes five pieces: a blotter, mouse pad, memo holder, paper tray and pen cup, designed to sit together as one considered desk arrangement.
On some finishes, yes, and that's intentional. Waxy leather develops a deeper patina with regular use, suede develops a soft nap, and a couple of the cushion finishes deepen in tone the more they're handled.
Leather is a natural material, so grain, texture and tone can vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is part of what makes it leather rather than something printed or machine-made, not a flaw.
Croco print and waxy leather are the most hardwearing finishes, which is why they're used on tables, trays and bar pieces that see daily handling. Suede and hair-on-hide are more delicate and better suited to cushions and display pieces you'll touch less often.
