How can you offer such low prices?
We work directly with experienced craftsmen and deliberately avoid middlemen. This allows us to pass the savings on to you, usually at least 30% cheaper than comparable carpets elsewhere, often even more.
Are your products authentic and durable?
Every rug is sourced from carefully vetted artisans who use high quality materials and traditional techniques. Many of our craftspeople have perfected their craft for generations, creating pieces that don't just look good in photos, but are truly made to last a lifetime.
Where are your products made?
All our carpets are made by experienced craftsmen in India who pass on their knowledge of traditional techniques from generation to generation.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on the product and delivery location:

Ready to ship
Estimated delivery in under 2 weeks. These items are in stock and will be shipped immediately upon receipt of your order. Most orders arrive within 2 weeks. -
Direct shipping from production site
Estimated delivery in 2 to 5 weeks. To ensure that every piece arrives in perfect condition, a large part of our collection is shipped directly from our production sites. Your rug travels directly from the craftsman's hands to your home, a journey that typically takes 2 to 5 weeks. -
In transit
Estimated delivery in 5 to 8 weeks. These pieces are shipped by sea from India to the UK, then forwarded by air to Germany. This route ensures careful handling while keeping the journey as efficient as possible, and typically takes 5 to 8 weeks door to door. -
Made to order
Estimated delivery in 8 to 10 weeks. These pieces are individually made to order. The waiting time is part of the process, each rug is created with care and dedication, and the result speaks for itself.

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to Germany and the United Kingdom.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or changed. If your order has already been processed, you may be able to return it under our return policy.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Returns within the first 14 days are completely free, provided the product is damaged or faulty. In other cases, we charge a small return shipping fee. You can find more details here.
What are the requirements for a return?
To request a return, the following conditions must be met:
The item must be unused, unaltered and in its original packaging, including all labels. A valid proof of purchase is required.
How do I start a return?
Send an email to support@fableroom.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will then arrange for a pickup directly from your home. Once your return has been received and inspected at our warehouse, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 days.

Where are your products made?
We work directly with experienced artisans, often family run workshops, who have perfected their craft for generations. Many of our products are made in India, where quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are proudly paramount. We don't choose a production location based on cost, we choose based on quality. India is home to some of the world's finest woodworkers, textile artisans, and handwoven rug makers. Working closely with them allows us to offer you exceptional pieces, made to last and crafted with care.

Do you offer color or fabric samples for rugs and cushions?
We don't currently offer samples on the website, but we're working on making them available soon. In the meantime, please feel free to email us at support@fableroom.com, we'll do our best to send you samples. ✨
Do you offer runner rugs?
Yes, we do! Some of our rugs are also available in runner sizes, typically 76 x 214 cm (2.5 x 7 ft) or 80 x 250 cm (2.6 x 8.2 ft). You can filter for these sizes on our rug collection page. Unsure which size is right for your space? Our rug size guide will help you find the perfect fit. 🧡
Can I order a rug in a custom size?
Yes, we offer custom sizes for select rugs. Simply choose a rug from our "Custom Rug" collection and enter your desired dimensions, from 60 cm to 275 cm in width and from 60 cm to 365 cm in length. The price will be calculated immediately and is subject to a minimum price for rugs under 2.3 square meters. As each rug is made to order, the delivery time for custom rugs is typically 6 to 8 weeks. Please note, because these rugs are made specifically for you, custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be canceled. We will, of course, cover any defects or damages.

What installment payment options are available?
We've partnered with Klarna and PayPal Pay in 3 to offer you flexible, interest free payment plans. This allows you to take your favorite items home today and conveniently spread the cost over several installments.
How does it work?
It's very simple:
Step 1: Add your selected products to your shopping cart.
Step 2: At checkout, select Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 as your payment option.
Step 3: Choose the plan that suits you best, options may vary depending on order value and credit check.
